Weathered Security exists to make their clients aware of how they can be electronically hunted and targeted by Near Peer, terrorist and criminal elements and how to mitigate and counter these efforts. The firm has focused on specific areas of Ubiquitous Technical Surveillance (UTS) such as Advertising Technology (AdTech), vehicle telematics (Telematics), travel data, cookies, screen time, and Facial/Object Recognition technologies. UTS, such as RF signatures from watches, medical devices, vehicles, battery, packs, aircraft, boats, rfid tags hidden in clothing. Smart devices and historical locations these devices can be linked to. They’ve developed courses and kits for the purpose of using open-source information to examines how technological capabilities are being used by threat actors, commercial industries, and governments.
Weathered Security provides classes and live practical demonstrations on techniques to familiarize students with electronic signature relating to the conduct of UTS, Force Protection, counter-surveillance, and intelligence operations in conjunction with electronic device/digital-hygiene relating to the daily use of personal /operational electronic devices, wireless networks, vehicles and the Internet.
